Beginner
Spanish level A1 is the first level according to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) which is a definition of different language levels established by the Council of Europe and is valid for all languages. Explained in normal language :-), we would say you are a "beginner".
At Instituto de Idiomas Ibiza we distinguish between three beginner levels:
- A1.0: The absolute beginner who doesn´t know any numbers and any greetings,
- A1.1: The "beginner 1 level" where you start introducing yourself and
- A1.2: The "beginner 2 level" where you will start to speak about yourself.
